The Storm / Swan Lee

The Storm "Raver"

If you never heard about them,
the Storm is from Denmark.
The singer of Swan Lee and the bassist of MEW had married and formed this band in 2006.
Yes, a gorgeous looking couple indeed.

Swan Lee and MEW were used to be
2 of my favourite danish bands.
But actually I was not a fan of the Storm before
as it sounded like some dated goth-rock pop.
So, I was not following them for a long time.
Then I heard their latest single the other day and quite liked it.
Nothing special, probably the greatest common denominator pop - but true Scandinavian mainstream pop.

The Storm "My Crown"
(very ABBA-esque)

The Storm "Lost in the Fire"

I still listen Pernille's previous band, Swan Lee from time to time.

Swan Lee "Tomorrow Never Dies"
(Supposed to be featured in the 007 movie...
but didn't happen unfortunately)

Swan Lee "Stay Tonight"

Swan Lee "I Don't Mind"

Nick Wooster + United Arrows

As a object, all great, all cute.
But I don't want to get all and walk as a mannequin.

Ok, I already bought a tab-collar shirts on the left.

I liked the vest as well.
The back is camo... cute.
But maybe too much for me?

I'll probably try the pants
next time I stop at United Arrows.

The bow ties look great, but I won't wear them...

Hmmm.... tempting.
Should I get the pants?

Anyway, well done. Mr. Wooster.

Diesel Furniture - Total Flightcase

This is just a clipping memo for me.
I'm not a fan of Diesel,
but fell in love with this furniture piece.

2 Doors

Silver

And sky print

Ice Choir "Afar"

Quite refreshing but somewhat nostalgic.
Their music reminds me of Tears for Fears..

"A Vision of Hell, 1996"

"Two Rings"

"Gangster Squad"

The casting looks very promising.

And the director? He created the "Zombieland".
Very very promising.

Tim Braden

Actually, I don't know much about him.
But his works just caught my eyes while browsing the web
and I'm absolutely fascinated by those.

Not only paintings, but sculptures, short films...
You can see more installation works on his website.
I'll dig him a bit more myself.

"Take This Waltz"

I'm glad that I didn't miss watching this in a theatre.
Sarah Polley is a very poetic and visual filmmaker,
Michelle Williams was amazing as usual.

I also quite like the styling of MW as well.
So cute.

P.S. This song reverberated in my head for a few days
after watching the movie.
