I've been a big fan of this Danish director.
Maybe one of only a few here in Japan.
I've seen just 2 of 3 films he directed so far though...
Twisted plot, full of striking characters,
Very dark sense of humour.
Quite harsh but warm, caricatured but real.
Check these two movies if you have a chance.
Adam's Apple (Adams æbler)
I saw this film at Sydney Film Festival.
The Green Butchers (De grønne slagtere)
He is also a great writer.
He wrote many scripts for Dogma films.
Mostly famous for the collaboration with Suzanne Bier.
(After Wedding, In A Better World, Open Hearts etc.)

Save Khaki
Another clothing store I have to visit next time I'm in NYC.
I love Save Khaki shorts and got 4-5 pairs already.
Authentic workwear detail, but with sophistication.
Swedish/Male/Electro/Pop/Duo
Technicolor, quite "Never Ending Story".
Black & White, catwalk friendly
Both very promising, great remixers and gaylicious.

Another my favourite, Gregory Drewdson.
His works are very cinematographic.
Edward Hopper meets David Lynch?
Soap opera turned out to be Twilight Zone?
Somehow mystical, lunatic, absurd, and funny.
It's a bit like you are watching a movie which you are not quite clear what genre to be categorized and don't remember the plot when you finished watching.

Saturdays Surf NYC
I've never surfed.
I worked with Kelly Slater and Rob Machado once and also lived in Sydney.
But yes, never surfed.
